:  is a one-year insurance plan which provides daily hospital cash (DHC) due to accidents and illnesses. This benefit provide to the Insured staying in hospital for minimum continuous 24 hours from admission.

Daily Hospital Cash (DHC),

: Claim payment will be calculated based on Percentage of Premium Collected (PPC).

 

* Insurance policy will be terminated once the maximum claim benefit is made. The amount of claim will be calculated based on Percentage of Premium Collected (PPC).

Exclusions:

General exclusions for DHC:

Insurer shall not pay the claim if the DHC of the Insured is due to:

a)  Suicide, attempted suicide or intentionally self-inflicted injury while sane or insane;

b) Rest cures or sanitaria care, illegal drugs, intoxication, sterilization, venereal disease and its squealed, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (‘AIDS’) or AIDS-Related Complex (‘ARC’) and HIV-related diseases;

c) Attempted to commit or commit any criminal offense or any illegal activities;

d) Participating in activities such as war, invasion, revolution, insurrection, civil commotion, riot, strike, popular rising against the government, and terrorism;

e) Any pre-existing conditions which the Insured is suffering before the effective date of insurance policy and this condition shall include any illness, disease or impairments but not limited to cancer, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, stroke, lung disease, kidney disease, and any other chronic illness and injuries.

f)  Any pandemics, refers to a serious disease outbreak defined by the Ministry of Health and any communicable diseases requiring quarantine by authorities;

g) Plastic/Cosmetic surgery, eye examination, glasses and refraction or surgical correction of near-sightedness (Radial Keratotomy or Lasik)

h) Oral health care of treatment;

i)  Any treatment or surgical operation for congenital abnormalities or deformities, including hereditary conditions;

j)  Pregnancy, child birth, miscarriage, abortion and prenatal or postnatal care and surgical, or treatment related to impotence or sterilization;

k)  Hospitalization primarily for investigatory purposes, diagnosis, X-ray examination, general physical or medical examinations, not incidental to treatment or diagnosis of any sickness, disease, illness, injuries or any treatment which is not medically necessary and any preventive treatments, preventive medicines or examinations carried out by a physician, and treatments specifically for weight reduction or gain;

l)   Ionizing radiation or contamination by radioactivity from any nuclear fuel or nuclear waste from process of nuclear fission;

m) Investigation and treatment of sleep and snoring disorders, hormone replacement therapy;

n) Psychotic, mental or nervous disorders, (including any neuroses and their physiological or psychosomatic manifestations);

o) Sickness or injury arising from racing of any kind (except foot racing), hazardous sports such as but not limited to skydiving, water skiing, underwater activities requiring breathing apparatus, winter sports, professional sports and illegal activities.
